Doug started his small business in the Lawn and Property care industry over a decade ago under the name LawnsPlus to train young men how to operate a business. LawnsPlus quickly expanded from residential and commercial property care to include larger lawns on lifestyle properties, schools and sportsfields. Doug's machinery line up continued to expand as clients requested more services on their properties. His dedication to the finer details keeps customers blown away by his quality of care on their properties.

After moving north, Doug added gravel drive repair and maintenance services. The company was rebranded as GroundsCARE reflecting the focus on services to rural property owners.  A skilled groundsman provides specialist services and we focus on assisting people to get the most out of their lifestyle blocks. We use specialist machines to do the hard yakka, regularly scheduled up-keep, and provide quality workmanship for long lasting quality results.  Our goal is to help our clients to truly enjoy their properties; 'Rural living, without the hassle'.

 

Doug offers three main categories of services:

DriveCARE for all your gravel drive repairs and maintenance;

LawnCARE for the big mowing jobs - tall grass, steep slopes, wet ground - he's seen it all; and

PropertyCARE - ground preparation, trenching for drainage or cables tree stump removal and storm damage clean-ups.

Doug is also available for general advice in lawn health, soil drainage and a wide range of lifestyle block tips and tricks.
