RESHAPE, MANAGE WATER

Poor water management causes ruts. Puddles turn into potholes. Our approach reshapes your gravel drive so rainwater quickly runs to the sides. We create and smooth a centre ridge (crown) to manage water runoff and protect your drive.
Where needed, we form gutters along the edge of the drive for better drainage. We can also cut culverts (under or across the drive), to pipe or channel water away.

POTHOLES, RUTS & RESURFACING

GroundsCARE’s method uses specialised machinery to grind out potholes and ruts. We repair and reshape the surface so water runs off for a better gravel drive, for longer.

Our Power Rake grinds and vibrates the gravel bed compacting it to the improved shape and contour so the repair is solid and long lasting. Traditionally, property owners used ‘tractor grading' or applied more gravel but that 'quick fix' never fixed the problem, it just hides it!

WIDEN DRIVE

Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) now require rural driveways to be 4m wide and 4m high for Fire Truck access. We can cut back vegetation and trim trees as needed.

Insurance companies may soon require this maintenance.
